TobyMac, Christian hip-hop artist is reflecting on the demise of Truett Foster McKeehan, his 21-year-old child. Truett, an ambitious rapper, pass away in October 2019 of an unintended drug overdo.
TobyMac, 57, whose actual name is Kevin Michael McKeehan, said that he will never be the same again. He further said that he believed that he had the picture-perfect life with his five children and his wife but they are truly disordered now and it is not so perfect any longer.
TobyMac remembered seeing Truett perform at local site in Tennessee a week earlier he passes away. TobyMac said that he lives across the road from where Truett did his last performance. He continued that there’s a cafeteria over there and some days he goes to that cafeteria and just look over at the courtyard where he last saw his son.
TobyMac said that he and his spouse, Amanda Levy McKeehan, were conscious of Truett’s fights with drug abuse. The father said that it wasn’t somewhat that they assumed was OK, but they didn’t think it was a crucial problem.
The day after his son pass away, TobyMac paid honor on Instagram to his late child. He said that Truett was a charming son, brother and friend and further said that Truett had an untameable outstanding behaviour and visions to match.
TobyMac’s household set up a foundation named the Truett Foster Foundation, which raises money to aid children follow an schooling in music.
