Anne Heche dies after being taken off life support after a horrific car accident.

Actress Anne Heche died today after being taken off life support a week after ramming her automobile into a residence in Los Angeles.

Her demise was disclosed on Instagram by her pal Nancy Davis and verified by her family.

After a horrific incident on August 5, the actress was sent to the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital in North Los Angeles.

A spokeswoman for her family stated yesterday that she was brain dead and was only being kept alive on life support so that physicians could collect her organs for donation.

They’d like to thank all for their well-wishes and prayers for Anne’s recovery, as well as the committed staff and amazing nurses who looked for her at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital.

Regrettably, Anne Heche sustained a serious anoxic brain injury as a result of her accident and remains in a coma in critical condition.

Earlier, Heche’s ex-girlfriend Ellen DeGeneres expressed her anguish after discovering that Heche was not expected to live.

‘It’s a sad day. I’m extending my love to Anne’s children, family, and friends.’

The collision left homeowner Lynne Mishele with significant injuries, prompting authorities to launch a criminal investigation.

According to law enforcement sources, Heche was high on cocaine while driving, although this has yet to be validated by a publicly available toxicology result.

The fire caused severe smoke inhalation for the actress

At this point, Anne is in extremely serious condition, her spokesman stated yesterday. She has substantial lung damage that needs artificial breathing, as well as burns that necessitate surgical surgery.

She’s in a coma and hasn’t recovered consciousness since shortly after the accident, says the doctor.

The horrifying footage shows the actress speeding into a busy road minutes before the disaster.

Heche appeared joyously on the set of a little film in her farewell Instagram image.

‘Good times on set with Lawrence Bros!’ the actress captioned her photo.

She was filming a tiny part in the romance comedy Frankie Meets Jack in Braintree, Massachusetts. The film was completed in mid-July and is still set to be released next year.

Heche rose to prominence in the 1990s with modest Hollywood appearances. Years later, in a honest book, she confessed that she had to overcome childhood trauma after being raped by her closeted, gay father.

Her two sons are her only survivors.

In 1997, Heche started a high-profile romance with Ellen DeGeneres. It was her first lesbian romance, she added, and it was “the finest sex she has ever had.”

Heche said she was banned from Hollywood after their public divorce in 2000, and her connection with her mom was damaged since her mom considered her daughter’s same-sex affair was a “sin.”
