In this cute little video, Marutaro is placed in a room full of pine cones, and he doesn’t know what’s going on. Why is everyone else ignoring him? What did he do wrong? Was it something he ate? Does he smell weird? You can practically see that look of defeat when he sees everyone is just going to keep ignoring him, and he turns his head to lie down.
Thankfully for him, Marutaro has other real friends to hang out with, who also look like him and are willing to play. If only we were all so lucky to have friends of the same species to hang out with who recognize us back. Oh, if only…
