Woman Creates Touching Animated Portrait of Her Grandmother Using Her Old Possessions…Brought Back Memories Of My Own Nan

After the death of her grandmother whom she considered a force of nature and a wonderful person, animator and illustrator Gemma Green-Hope was called to help sort through her remaining posessions. What she discovered evoked not only memories, but also resulted in a deeply felt and personal piece. This is the most gratifying and reassuring stop-motion portrait I’ve ever seen.
