10-Yr-Old Boy Sees ‘Haircut’ Barber Gave Him, Immediately Calls The Police.

Everyone understands that having a haircut may lead to dissatisfaction with the outcome. When you sit in that chair, you’re entrusting your appearance to a complete stranger who, perhaps, has your best interests at heart.

Not everyone who wields a pair of scissors, nonetheless, is concerned with impressing their consumers. In fact, as a little kid discovered, they may occasionally use their haircutting instruments as a weapon of revenge.

When a 10-year-old kid sat in Abdulrahim Omar’s chair at a salon in England, he was drawn in by the gleaming display of clippers, razors, and hair care products, as any youngster would be. Feeling daring, the kid began to experiment with the razor, giving himself a light shave. When he returned to his station, the child was “proud” of his success and demonstrated his abilities to the 21-year-old hairdresser. However, Omar was not impressed with the youngster’s initiative.

To “teach him a lesson” for touching his equipment, Omar detained the youngster and turned the razor back on him, forcibly shaving his head on the closest setting imaginable as he and others laughed and insulted the child. Omar, on the other hand, wasn’t done with him yet. To further embarrass the boy, he ordered him to sweep up his hair and throw it away.

After being publicly humiliated, the youngster called the police and reported what had occurred. Officers arrived at the Bedford barber shop within minutes and made note of the occurrence. Abdulrahim Omar was later apprehended and charged with causing real bodily injury to a child.

According to the evidence presented at Luton Crown Court, Omar gave the kid a “number one” haircut as other employees and customers looked on and laughed. The kid suffered “psychological and physical harm” as a result of what Judge Richard Foster described as the most horrible piece of shaming.

Due to the seriousness of the crime and its impact on the kid, Abdulrahim Omar pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 8 months in jail. Judge Foster was certain that Omar would be given a lesson, just as he had attempted to teach the innocent youngster for engaging in immature curiosity.

Omar’s sentence was ultimately reduced to 6 months in jail, suspended for a year. The barber now states that he genuinely regrets his acts and that they were utterly out of character for him.

Abdulrahim Omar has been released from jail and is now allowed to return to work. He insists that the act was a failure of judgment and that it will not happen again.

Many readers were naturally disappointed and offended by the barber’s behavior toward the little kid, and others thought that Omar should have spent the whole of his jail term. Others, however, have taken a more compassionate stance, claiming that the youngster was at fault for using items that did not belong to him. However the situation may be, parents are unlikely to bring their kids to Omar for a haircut anytime soon.
