3 children kidnapped by car crash victim their dad stopped to help

Three kids were abducted by a car crash victim as their father stopped to aid.

Three kids are safe after being abducted by a car crash victim who their father stopped to assist.

He stopped to help and he almost lost everything, the guy, who only went by his first name Bryon, stated. They have to stick together because everything may vanish in the blink of an eye.

Byron has 3 kids: Olivia, six, Chloe, four, and Brandon, two. On September 2, he and his kids were driving in Memphis, Tennessee, in their brown Toyota Avalon.

Byron stated that he came to a halt after seeing a collision involving a white Kia and a blue pick-up truck. The Memphis Police Department verified to Action News 5 that the driver of the Kia had a gash on his forehead and that the car had been stolen prior to the crash.

According to witnesses at the site, the wounded Kia driver was requesting for a lift to flee the accident area. None of them, though, felt comfortable complying with the suggestion.

The unnamed Kia driver then stepped into Bryon’s vehicle and drove away, leaving his kids inside.

He was carjacked. He stopped to help and was carjacked, Bryon explained.

Another witness at the event, Derick Taylor mentioned that he gave Bryon a ride to follow the man as he escaped.

According to authorities, the guy stopped the vehicle shortly after leaving the scene of the collision and let out all 3 kids. Byron was shortly reunited with them. According to authorities, all three were uninjured.

It could’ve been a lot worse. He is  simply grateful he got his children, Byron said.

The relieved parent expressed that the event will not deter him from offering assistance in the future.

One can’t control one’s heart. If one’s heart urges one to help someone, one will help them, he stated. God had him covered so he’ll leave it there.

The driver of the blue pick-up truck said that the incident caused no “major harm.”

The offender is still at large, according to police, although the case is unrelated to the kidnapping of Eliza Fletcher, a mother who was abducted near the University of Memphis early Friday morning.

Memphis police stated on social media that Fletcher was pushed into a dark SUV. Her cellphone and water bottle were discovered nearby.
