52-yr-old “Survivor” winner promises to donate entire $1 million prize to veterans in need.

Mike “Gabler” Gabler of Meridian, Idaho, was crowned the show’s second oldest champion last week.

Gabler, who has worked as a heart valve specialist in an operating room at Edwards Lifesciences for over 20 years, was crowned the winner of season 43 of the hit program after proving to be quite popular.

According to sources, the 52-year-old received no negative votes during the season and was practically unanimously voted the winner by his fellow candidates.

Although his victory is not to be dismissed—after all, getting on such a famous program and then going all the way takes some doing—it’s what he’s chosen to do with the prize money that has perhaps lifted his profile even further.

“Survivor” winners get not just fame but also a $1 million reward. It should go without saying that this kind of money may mean a lot to a lot of candidates, which only boosts their motivation to win.

But, after his great win, Mike said that he intends to give the full amount to Veterans in Need. He said that he wanted to commemorate his dad, Robert Gable.

This season, they created history here, Gabler added. They’re going to create history in another manner because Season 43 is unique due to these amazing individuals. There are those who need this money the most, and he wants to give the full reward in his father’s honor to veterans in need.

In terms of his experience on the program, Mike regarded it as “amazing.”

Being on Survivor was incredible. That was a very unforgettable experience. The crew was incredible, Gabler stated.

The journey with those castaways, the folks that were on this season with him, was wonderful. He has nothing but positive things to say.

The long-running reality program “Survivor” returned to the Fiji Islands this season.

Michael considers himself lucky enough to come from a military family.

Mike informed program presenter Jeff Probst about his intention to make the aforementioned donation: He worked really hard and was lucky. Yet, as a result of this experience, he understood that he is wealthy at home. At home, he enjoys a fantastic existence. His family is fantastic, and he has wonderful buddies.

He needs to be a better spouse, a better parent, a better brother, and a better son. He is going to do all of those things, just as the rest will when they go home.

And to take this million dollars at a time when there’s so much going on in the news that people don’t want to look at, and one say, ‘Oh, that’s why we’re watching Survivor, because wonderful things happen on this show, and we just did another one on season 43.’

They’re going to support veterans in need, and they’re going to give them a complete million dollars, Gabler explained. And he’ll be eternally glad that they accomplished this.

Wow! This is a wonderful gesture. Mike Gabler, for one, deserves all the accolades in the world.
