Shawn Walker’s security cameras recorded everything that went wrong. In the video, a pickup vehicle is seen going northbound on Kostner before colliding with a stolen Hyundai Sonata. The Sonata came to a stop next to a light post, while the truck collided with a huge tree.
On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, the Chicago Crime Chasers News Update posted that the baby wasn’t breathing, so they started doing CPR, Walker said. The main goal was to get a pulse back into the baby.

Cristian Uvidia, a 6-month-old child, was recognized by the Cook County Medical Examiner. On Monday afternoon, the infant was confirmed deceased at Stroger Hospital.
According to his family, the infant had only turned six months old the day before the tragic event.
Firefighters raced to the area after the collision to save the family. As they were brought to the hospital, their situations were graded from severe to critical.
Officers spent more than four hours at the accident site collecting proof and interviewing witnesses.
Two suspects from the stolen Hyundai were apprehended. They were both minors, 14 and 17-year-old lads. They were charged with possession of a stolen automobile.
A GoFundMe page has been put up to generate cash for Cristian’s funeral.
The account detailed the tragic occurrences. It said how he died, he suffered from a blow that fractured his skull, forcing his brain to swell and ultimately kill him.
It went on to add that they have been devastated and heartbroken. They will miss his wonderful grin since he brought pleasure to everyone he met.
Part of the money will also go towards medical expenses, as the description explained, as mom and her sisters are currently in the hospital with wounds but are in stable condition.
This is a tragic tale. We wish the family well as they recover from such a tragic loss. Please pray with us for this family.
