An Indiana woman was shot and killed just five days after attending her 5-year-old son’s burial.
The Davidson family of South Bend, Indiana, is once again in mourning after Kaylynn Davidson was shot outside of a restaurant on Tuesday night, according to heartbreaking accounts.
According to police, the 32-year-old was brought to the hospital, where she died from her wounds. Kaylynn had just attended the burial for her son, Kyler Jackson, who died on May 1 following an unintentional gunshot involving a 9-year-old relative. Three days after the event, the small kid died.
Councilman Minister Canneth Lee, who was the main pastor during Kyler’s funeral, is now attempting to assist the Davidson family cope with their unfathomable loss once more.
He stated that it’s a lot of feeling when you receive that call that a loved one is killed, or that a loved one is in the hospital, or that a catastrophe has occurred. He continued that they’ve had three tragedies: Kyler, the nephew who inadvertently shot him, and now Kyler’s mother. Lee also challenged the South Bend community to join together to avoid such incidents from occurring in the future.
“What else do we have if we can’t live for our children and nurture our children?” he said.
According to reports, a woman named Kimarie Wright has been accused of murder and voluntary manslaughter in connection with the gunshot that killed Kaylynn Davidson.
On Tuesday, May 17, surveillance film allegedly revealed Davidson entering a restaurant in South Bend and striking Wright. The two ladies then battled until others intervened and separated them.
Wright, on the other hand, took out a revolver and fired at Davidson and other restaurant patrons after they had departed the place.
She is being detained without bond at the moment.
Such thoughtless brutality is enough to make anyone lose trust in modern civilization. We concur with Pastor Lee that we should all seek for ways to cohabit more harmoniously.
