Now children on TikTok join the ‘Deppford wives’ trolling Amber Heard

Thousands of hateful TikTok videos depicting Johnny Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard have been uploaded by young Johnny Depp followers.

The so-called ‘Deppford wives,’ some as young as 10, have swamped the social media site throughout the six-week defamation trial, with the films accumulating billions of views.

The videos, titled ‘#JusticeForJohnny,’ blame Miss Heard of being a narcissist and say that she is feigning her pain in court in order to undercut her domestic violence charges against the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor.

The 36-year-old is frequently referred to as ‘Miss Turd’ by the youthful cyber-bullies, and hundreds of profiles are devoted to arranging footage of her heartbreaking testimony to Cliff Richard’s song Devil Woman.

Depp, 58, is presented as a lovable hero in the video, due to his roles in children’s flicks such as Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and Alice In Wonderland. He has also gained a new generation of followers as a result of his model daughter Lily-Rose Depp’s high-profile relationship with up-and-coming actor Timothée Chalamet.

Other videos have fans clothed in Depp’s iconic Captain Jack Sparrow costume from Pirates Of The Caribbean or fans costumed in Depp’s favorite moments from the trial.

Miss Heard told a Fairfax, Virginia, court on Friday of her ‘extremely painful’ suffering at the hands of internet abusers, involving daily death threats against her and her kid. She said that one internet troll threatened to ‘microwave’ her one-year-old kid.

Depp is suing his ex-wife for $50 million (£40 million) over a Washington Post post in which she described herself as a “public figure symbolizing domestic abuse.” She then counter-sued for $100 million, saying that his lawyers’ ‘smears’ had rendered her a ‘pariah.’

The jury will reconvene on Tuesday to resume deliberations.
