Ellie Garcia, one of the 19 kids shot by a juvenile at Robb Elementary School in Texas last week, used to pray aloud every night and spread the Gospel on social media until she died a week before her tenth birthday.
Garcia, a 9-year-old victim of the school massacre in Uvalde on Tuesday, had submitted a TikTok video stating, “Hey, folks. I simply wanted to bring you up a little catch-up. Jesus. He gave his life for us. So when we die, we will be with Him. I have three photographs of Him in my room.”

Steven Garcia, her dad, shared the 15-second video on Facebook. Garcia also mentioned how much his daughter enjoyed praying. He posted a photo from January of his small daughter resting on her bed, hands folded in prayer.
“I caught my Ellie Gee in the middle of a conversation with our lord… “I adore you, darling daughter, and I adore the way you pray,” he wrote at the time.
Garcia continued, ‘she prayed out loud every night so we could pray with her. I recall this day we had just bought the lamp that was on and she wanted to sleep with it on so she aired up her air mattress, gave Us a hug and kiss and went to pray as mom made treats in the kitchen! These are the thoughts I have.’

As of Monday morning, a GoFundMe campaign for the Garcia family has raised $128,078 of the $50,000 target.
It adds, she was born on the 4th of June. Ellie was turning ten years old the next week. Eliahna was a wonderful little girl with a gorgeous and beautiful soul. She would brighten everyone’s day with enormous grins and big embraces. It continues, she will never be forgotten, we will always cherish their ramen noodle girl forever! We are grateful to everyone in their family, friends, neighboring towns, and people all across the world for their love and prayers for their family.
Last Tuesday, an 18-year-old Latino boy entered a fourth-grade classroom and killed 19 students and two instructors. The gunman entered the school around 11:40 a.m. and was shot by agents more than an hour later, at 12:58 p.m. The agents’ delayed action has resulted in harsh criticism of law enforcement.
Uvalde Police Chief Pete Arredondo, the officer in command at the scene, felt the gunman was “a barricaded suspect” who was no longer a threat.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw, 911 calls revealed that several youngsters were still alive at the time.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has stated, “We’re not going to sit here and talk about it while doing nothing.” We will seek the finest legislation we can adopt to keep communities safe.”
Greg Laurie, the pastor and founder of the Harvest congregations in California, highlighted in a commentary about the killing that “now is a time to grieve.”
He stated, “The secret is to cry out to God Himself. He will listen to your plea. If you are one of the parents who lost one of these kids and are reading this right now, please accept my heartfelt condolences.”
He said, “You will see your kid again if you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. They are not just a part of your history, but also of your future.”
