The most recent victims of Kentucky’s record flooding, which has submerged some regions entirely, include 4 kids.
Four of Brittany Trejo’s young relatives perished on Thursday after being swept away by floods.
According to the story, she said that the kids, who ranged in age from 1 to 8, perished after their parents fought to keep hold of them. The children’s remains were found on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
Trejo claims that the remains of Riley Jr., 6, Maddison Noble, 8, Nevaeh Noble, 4, and Chance Noble, 1, were all found.
The Kentucky State Police verified to the source that they were aware of the incident of four youngsters missing, but they provided no other information.
According to a GoFundMe, the parents who escaped the storm “lost everything.”
Trejo stated that once they were on the roof, the entire area below them and the kids swept away. They were able to go to a tree and hold the kids there for a few hours before a strong flood came and took them all away at once. It took eight hours for someone to come and rescue the mother and father who were stuck in the tree.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear stated in a briefing on Friday that 16 people have died as a consequence of the floods, and he predicted that number to grow.
Folks, that’s going to increase significantly, Beshear remarked.
In Kentucky, there are 21,684 people without electricity as of Friday afternoon.
