Ben Affleck the groom appeared weary on his way out of Georgia after his lavish wedding to Jennifer Lopez over the weekend.
The “Batman” actor, 50, was spotted resting in the backseat of an SUV with his eyes half-closed as he was driven to the airport with three other individuals.
His slumber didn’t last long as he caught up with longtime friend Matt Damon and his family at the airport.
After Damon and his family boarded one plane, Affleck assisted his three children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
A few hours later, the groom boarded a third private jet with his bride, 53.
This isn’t the first time the paparazzi have spotted Affleck dozing off.
He was spotted dozing on a tourist boat along the Seine River in Paris last month. The “Gone Girl” star was in Paris with Lopez following their first wedding in Las Vegas.
Affleck’s most recent nap comes just days after he and Lopez honored their second wedding with a three-day celebration that began with a rehearsal dinner on Friday.
The “Hustlers” actor and Affleck remarried on Saturday at the groom’s mansion in Riceboro, Georgia. The next day, the pair gathered their friends and family for one more post-wedding brunch.
Damon, Jimmy Kimmel, talent agent Patrick Whitesell, Australian model Pia Miller, and “Jay and Silent Bob” actors Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes were among those that encircled Lopez and Affleck. Affleck’s brother, Casey, who was sending his oldest kid off to college, and Garner, who had a previous business engagement, were both conspicuously absent from the festivities.
Despite the spectacular all-white occasion, the weekend was marred by many hospital trips. Affleck’s mother needed medical assistance after slipping down a pier on Friday, and one anonymous attendee was carried out of the event in an ambulance the next day.
The couple’s ideal wedding takes place 20 years after they first met.
Affleck and Lopez married in 2002 after meeting on the set of “Gigli” a year before. However, due to the considerable media coverage surrounding their wedding, the pair was compelled to postpone the ceremony. They called it quits two years after their original engagement.
Later, the singer admitted that the split was her “first great heartbreak.” She later married musician Marc Anthony, with whom she had twin daughters, Max and Emme, while Affleck wedded Garner.
“Bennifer” returned in April 2021 after the former pair was caught hanging out following Lopez’s breakup with Alex Rodriguez. The couple’s relationship evolved rapidly, and months later, they declared their love Instagram-official.
Last month, a year after reuniting, the pair announced their engagement and made it official in a surprise Vegas ceremony.
