A lady detained for failing to pay the bill at an airport eatery said that cops harassed her because she was too “good-looking.”
Hend Bustami, 28, departed a Chili’s Tex-Mex branch at Harry Reid International Airport last Wednesday without paying her bill.
The self-described “hospitality worker” was sleeping “near the security checkpoint, obstructing their operations,” according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Bustami was finally detained at the baggage claim, when she seemed inebriated and was “belligerent” with authorities, according to the arrest report.
Bustami said she was harassed since cops had never seen somebody as gorgeous as her, according to authorities.
Officers found the young woman had another outstanding warrant from the Las Vegas Municipal Court. The nature of these charges is unknown.
According to the report, while being arrested, Bustami threatened to spit on all the police and said that officers were perverts and were attempting to rape her since they had never seen somebody this beautiful.
Bustami, a 2017 University of Nevada-Las Vegas graduate, was arrested on misbehavior accusations.
She is currently being detained on $1,000 bail at the Clark County Detention Center.
It is unclear if Bustami has secured legal representation. She is scheduled to appear in court on October 27.
