The adorable Princess Charlotte moment that impressed TV host at Queen’s funeral

Princess Charlotte’s understanding of royal procedure amazed Karl Stefanovic when she was spotted firmly informing her elder brother that he was required to bow during the Queen’s burial.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ two eldest kids, heir-to-the-throne George, nine, and his younger sister, seven, attended the London ceremony on Monday.

Following the service, Her Majesty’s coffin departed Westminster Abbey for its final voyage out of London to Windsor, where the late queen will be laid in a private burial in King George VI Memorial Chapel in St George’s Chapel.

Princess Charlotte was spotted instructing her brother, ‘you need to bow,’ as the casket passed the young royals, before Prince George bent his head.

The Today Show anchor acknowledged he couldn’t take his eyes off the heartwarming encounter between the children. Princess Charlotte was definitely ‘beyond royal protocol,’ according to co-host Ally Langdon.

During the service, the Queen’s great grandkids cut sad figures, both seemed to comprehend the importance of the day despite their early age, in the absence of their youngest sibling, Louis, four, who did not attend the burial.

Her Majesty made her last and most heartfelt trip from Westminster Hall as Britain grieved the death of its longest-serving monarch and the royals said farewell to a dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

The Princess of Wales, 40, was a calming presence for George and Charlotte throughout, fiercely clutching her daughter’s hand as the family arrived at Westminster Abbey.

Princess Charlotte donned a black mourning coat with a velour collar and a matching wide-brimmed hat, while Prince George wore a navy blue suit with a black tie.
