While parents strive to give the greatest opportunities for their children, many situations are beyond their control. Parents feel powerless when it comes to fate’s harsh designs since there is nothing they can do to save their children.
When their child died, an Indiana family had identical emotions. Rather than seeing her play with other kids, her parents were forced to plan for her burial.
Tyler McGee and Bianca Nelson welcomed MaKinleigh Ann McGee into the world on April 6, 2018, in Evansville, Indiana. The couple was overjoyed to be holding their baby child.
Her parents appreciated every achievement she made as she got older. MaKinleigh was the second child of a family of three, with one older brother and two younger brothers.
MaKinleigh has always wanted to ride a horse, so her parents scheduled a trip to Lark Ranch near Evansville. The tiny girl also desired to dress as a princess for Halloween, but her life was cut short before she could do so.
MaKinleigh died in a horrible vehicle accident on October 7, 2022, which was a tragic turn of events for the family. Her parents were horrified by the tragedy. Kristin Pride, MaKinleigh’s aunt, stated that they weren’t expecting to lose their precious baby, and no one should ever have to go through this heartbreak.
On the same day, Pride created a GoFundMe campaign to gather donations for the child’s burial. She hoped to raise $15,000 through an internet fundraising. The family had earned more than $12,000 with 235 donations as of October 13, 2022.
MaKinleigh’s untimely death devastated her family as no one anticipated losing her at such a young age. However, Pride’s father was being treated in the hospital for injuries. She disclosed that their father is still in the intensive care unit, and they don’t know what the future holds for him.
MaKinleigh’s obituary stated, her giggle was captivating, and her huge gorgeous blue eyes would melt your heart when she looked at you. The family announced that her funeral services would be held on October 15 at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg.

Nelson endured something that no mother deserved. She stood powerless as her baby breathed her last and afterwards planned for the burial. Nelson remarked in a heartbreaking Facebook post– God took the most lovely, brilliant, gorgeous, kind young child home, and all she can think about is how much more time they required.

Nelson also shared her baby’s obituary on her Facebook page. She asked individuals to pray for her daughter and her family, adding that with each stage of this procedure, her strength is diminishing.
She hoped her daughter was still alive, yet destiny had other plans for her.
Other individuals, in addition to MaKinleigh’s close relatives, felt awful for her.
