Nowadays, street performers can be located almost anywhere. It’s not unusual to come across one in the city. However, this style of performance may be uncommon. Johnny Walker, a busker from the United Kingdom, opted to play in Leeds on a cold night.
He is generally a solo performer, but he opted to include a guest in his show. Johnny let a homeless ham join in without reluctance. He’s lucky he did. His addition to the performance was not a letdown.
Bernard, the homeless man, has his own backstory. He is well-known and well-liked across the city.
He has 2 kids and was a previous cast member of the TV program Harry’s Game. He was also a member of the Irish folk scene in the past.
What we’ve said about the performance here simply doesn’t do his voice credit.
You must hear it for yourself.
You will not be sorry that you took the time to listen. It demonstrates that brilliance can be discovered anyplace, and that you should never judge a book by its cover.
