A 7-year-old child from California who donated his hair to cancer sufferers has been diagnosed with the disease.
Despite being teased by his peers, Vinny Desautels spent two years growing out his blond hair to 13 inches.
He wants to assist others so they don’t have to go to physicians for cancer, Vinny said.
When youngsters mocked him about looking like a girl, the lad brushed it off.
During that period, he was frequently misunderstood for a female, but Vinny took it like a champ and was like, ‘Nah, I’m a guy,’ his war veteran dad Jason recounted.
Vinny was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer soon after donating his long hair.
Vinny allegedly complained of knee pain after returning home from school. Doctors soon noticed he had a tumor around his hips.
When they noticed a bone forming around his eye and right cheek, they realized their initial idea that it was only an allergy was incorrect. Rather, they were concerned that the two concerns may be related.
Doctors are still attempting to figure out exactly what type of cancer the youngster has. They are expecting another kid in addition to paying for their son’s medical expenditures.
