An infant died after being reportedly abused by his mother. Lindsay Clancy, who is 32 years old, is thought to have killed Callan, who was 8 months old, and her other two children, Cora, 5, and Dawson, 3. Officers think Lindsay Clancy tried to kill herself on January 24 by jumping out of a window at her family’s home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, after she allegedly strangled her children. Lindsay was said to have struggled with postpartum anxiety, which might have led to the fatal series of circumstances.
Lindsay’s husband, Patrick Clancy, left the family’s house for a brief period last week to get groceries, and when he returned, the elder kids were lifeless and the newborn was seriously damaged. Cora and Dawson were taken to a neighboring hospital by emergency responders, where they were declared dead. Callan died on January 27 after being airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.
The mom of three, a labor and delivery nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, may have had postpartum anxiety after the birth of Callan.
In July, she reportedly posted on social media about her mental health, claiming that she was “dialed in” and that adjusting her workout and eating habits “made all the difference.”
Rita Musgrove, the children’s great-grandmother, dropped flowers at the family’s house. It’s a fairly startling thing, and it’s upsetting, she told. Musgrave and the children’s aunt, Donna Jesse, have had difficulty processing what has occurred.
They were just stunningly lovely children. They were well cared for—they were just stunning. They had a lovely existence, Musgrove said.
The family’s life seemed ideal, with several photos of happier times shared on social media.
He started by thanking everyone who had helped him through these trying times. He emphasized that when life throws one a curve ball like this, one can never be psychologically prepared.
Many individuals have said that they cannot imagine, and they are correct; there is nothing that can prepare one. The anguish and shock are terrible and never-ending. He is constantly reminded of them, and with the little sleep he get, he have recurring dreams about them, He wrote and had a friend post to the family’s GoFundMe page. Any parent understands that it’s difficult to tell how much one loves their children until one has them. The same is true for comprehending the anguish of losing them. Cora, Dawson, and Callan were the center of his universe, and he’d be lost without them.
On the GoFundMe website, he also offered personal recollections about each kid, such as, Cora had an amazing laugh and was incredibly gorgeous. She was the careful one, but only because she was so concerned.
Dawson had lovely, strong, brown eyes that twinkled with kindness. He was naturally amusing and gave beyond the standard of a regular toddler, constantly wanting to share his toys with others. He always returned more affection than he got.
Callan died with tremendous bravery while being so little. Perhaps that was his way of showing him what he needed to do to move on. He’ll always look to him for motivation. He’ll be his little hero forever.
He said that she is being evaluated in public by individuals who have never met her. He described the couple’s marriage as great, and it became stronger as her illness quickly deteriorated.
The pair had been working together to overcome Lindsay Clancy’s mental health issues and had never lost their love for one another.
She enjoyed being a nurse, yet nothing could compare to her passionate love for their children and devotion to being a mom, Patrick Clancy said on the GoFundMe website. It was everything she had ever desired. Her drive inspired him to be a better parent.
He added in his statement, he’d want to request that everyone find it deep within themselves to forgive Lindsay, as he has. Lindsay freely expressed compassion and care for everyone, including himself, their children, relatives, friends, and her patients. Her own spirit is filled with love. All he wants for her right now is for her to find peace.

Patrick Clancy resolves to recover with the aid of his community and to remember that “Love always wins.” The goal of the GoFundMe campaign is to raise $1 million, but so far it has raised more than $880,000.
Lindsay Lacy faces many accusations, involving two counts of murder, three counts of strangulation or choking, and three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, according to Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz, who addressed the media last week. Officials have not filed any new charges in connection with Callan’s killing. Lindsay Clancy is being held in police custody while in the hospital.
