Every disparity among minority populations, according to Irami Osei-Frimpong, may be attributed to racial injustice, namely white oppression. Furthermore, he has been given a great platform at the University of Georgia to propagate racial propaganda and the notion of victim superiority, telling young people that a specific group of people is innately racist and, hence, wicked.
The UGA teaching assistant has constantly proclaimed that whites are the enemies of non-whites and therefore the root of most of their communities’ problems, comparing himself to historical black activists fighting for civil rights and his perceived oppression to that of those living under Jim Crowe legislation. But from the pulpit, he has recently upped the demagoguery, arguing that a few white people may have to die for black communities to be made whole in this battle on the way to freedom.
Irami Osei-Frimpong, who uses social media to repeat tired racist supremacist talking points, incorrectly attributed the disproportionate crime rate of the black community to patriarchal tyranny and institutional racism.
Many individuals would consider this racial supremacy and the instigation of racial violence, but the University of Georgia disagrees. In fact, the UGA administration not only declined to even chastise Osei-Frimpong for his prejudiced and incendiary statement, but instead supported it.
Rather than correcting or even condemning Osei-Frimpong’s racist comments and separating the university’s name from the advocacy of white genocide, UGA management backed his demand for white people’s deaths. Nine University of Georgia faculty members, including professors, teaching assistants, and administrators, reportedly signed a statement that the United Campus Workers of Georgia had drafted. They then delivered the letter to UGA President Jere Morehead.
Campus Reform first became aware of Osei Frimpong’s obscene outbursts after he compared southern whites to “autistic kids” and “sociopaths.” His ranting got so harsh and aggressive that he was removed from Facebook for a post urging that “we have to dismantle the institutions that make crappy white people.”
Although UGA asserts that views voiced by students, faculty, and staff in their personal capacities do not reflect the opinions of the university, the officials involved have made it their goal to defend this specific teacher’s remarks.
However, for the university administration, they rapidly discovered that the great majority of their contributors and benefactors belong to the same demographic that Osei-Frimpong targets. Individuals threatened to stop donating to the institution after hearing the professor’s statements. The UGA staff was instantly drawn to this.
After contributors started to withdraw, UGA declared that it was consulting with the Attorney General’s Office about what actions they could lawfully pursue in accordance with the First Amendment.
Obviously, this was all a lie to keep their patrons happy. Because of evident prejudice on the school’s campus some years ago, the union has said that it will continue to defend the teacher.
Osei-Frimpong’s racist and violent statements, advocating for the mass death of white people by minorities, will continue. He will continue to indoctrinate America’s kids, teaching them that they are victims while living in the most wealthy and free society in history.
The university’s answer demonstrates that we live in a time where some groups may degrade and discriminate against other groups based merely on skin color. Until we speak out against this covert racism, it will thrive on college campuses.
