Emma was at a Charlotte, North Carolina, animal shelter earlier this year and was about to be euthanized when a man living in the same area stepped in and wanted to adopt her.
A friend had put Nicholas in touch with the animal shelter after the friend had seen Emma there and thought she would be the perfect dog for Nicholas. And after a few days, Nicholas was the owner of Emma.
But no one knew about the surprise Emma had in store for him. Emma was pregnant, and within days of receiving her, she had six puppies.
So I guess you could say Nicholas rescued 7 dogs all at once. Nicholas says Emma and her babies are doing well, and Emma is an extremely lovable girl.
