Fred Lamar’s rusty old ’57 Chevy Bel Air had been sitting in the garage and catching dust for decades. It was just plain ugly. So his grandson, Cam Dedman, decided to do something about it.
For about a year, Cam worked on that old rust bucket, spending $30,000 of his own money to restore it. And when he was finished… well, what a beauty she was. Cam had saved up for years just to do this and he even sold his OWN car to buy some of the parts needed.
On January 13, just two days before Fred’s birthday, Cam surprised him with his new car.
Says Fred: “I just couldn’t believe it. He’s one special grandson.”
And That he is.
