My husband mopped the floor twice this week. That’s normally my thing. He did the counters, cleaned the stove, and got the fingerprints off the microwave.
I usually checkmark those. But the past few weeks have been different. He came home from work and loaded up the kids. There was extra carry out and drive-thru runs. I haven’t been able to hold up my end of things. I haven’t been able to hold up much of anything.
There are times in your marriage when you have to do it all. So find someone who you want to do it all for. And find someone who will carry your weight when you can’t bear to stand.
