‘Anti-feminist’ model says she wants to be treated like a ‘1950s housewife’

While looking for love, a former model who wants to be treated like a “1950s housewife” has disclosed her extremely high standards. Claire Grey, 39, of Swansea, who was crowned Mrs Wales in the over-30s category last year, admitted to having an antiquated attitude toward domestic roles.

She seriously thinks that women should stay at home while men go to work, guaranteeing that dinner is on the table for their husband every night and that all household chores are completed. Alternatively, she believes that men should always pay for dinner, open the car door for her, and has even dumped one of her partners for failing to hold her hand while crossing the street.

Claire, a psychotherapist, believes in outdated courting customs, indicating that she aspires to be courted in the manner of characters from historical plays such as Downton Abbey or Bridgerton.

She considers herself to be a ‘anti-feminist,’ since she does not believe in one-night encounters and waits six months before sleeping with a man, adding that ‘women these days are easy.’ She won’t kiss on the first date, although she confesses that her aversion to intimacy sometimes makes it difficult to find the appropriate companion.

Men should approach her residence and knock on the door on a first date instead of texting to indicate they’ve arrived. She believes that males should always open the vehicle door for her and must always pay on the date, and she admits that she ‘cringes’ when she sees another woman pay at a restaurant or bar.

Claire puts her admirers to the test on a first date by offering to pay for the next round – but is shocked if they agree. Claire believes that males should not swear and should handle the majority of the driving, but she requires her man to fill up her car with gas if she does get behind the wheel.

Claire’s high expectations incorporate being showered with flowers and being delighted with romantic gestures on a regular basis. Claire does not anticipate having to work when she becomes a mother, however she feels that manners are more essential than riches when it comes to selecting a spouse. Claire values chivalry so much that she is said to have abandoned an ex-professional footballer after just two months together because he failed to hold her hand while on a romantic trip to Paris.
