Beloved morning news anchor Neena Pacholke dies by apparent suicide at 27 years old – rest in peace

There are many individuals who are suffering behind closed doors. Those who appear to be well adjusted and cheerful on the outside may be dealing with interior issues that we are unaware of.

Neena Pacholke was a renowned WAOW morning news anchor. She was well-known for her contagious grin and upbeat temperament. As a result, the news of her death startled her family, friends, and colleagues.

Their beloved morning anchor, Neena Pacholke, died abruptly Saturday. The whole staff here at News 9 is profoundly grieved by the tragedy, as they understand so many others are, 9 WAOW said in a statement.

At the age of 27, the former collegiate basketball player died by apparent suicide. Pacholke was raised in Tampa and attended the University of South Florida, where she played basketball in college. According to her elder sister Kaitlynn Pacholke, she leaves behind her fiance, since she was engaged at the time of her death.

She was like a tiny ball of sunshine, with a huge smile. By far the happiest person she knew was her sister, her sister stated.

Pacholke’s final tweet was a repost of a tweet by author Jon Gordon, urging people that the best is yet to come and to be more optimistic.

In a statement, the station added, she was a wonderful lady with a large heart and a contagious smile, and they shall miss her deeply.

Brendan Mackey, Pacholke’s co-anchor, is distraught, as predicted. He described his former co-anchor as “the brightest light in the room,” with the “greatest grin and the funniest laugh.”

He has never met somebody who is more adored than this girl in her whole life. Every day, she made people smile, whether it was through a television screen or just by being an amazing pal. She was so cheerful and full of life, and she was a role model, Mackey said in a Facebook post about her.

I love you Neena I have never met anyone in my entire life that is more loved than this girl. Everyday she made people…

Packholke began working for the news channel as a multimedia journalist in 2017 and was promoted to anchor in February 2019. She graduated from the University of South Florida, where she lettered three seasons as a point guard.

Jose Fernandez, head coach of the USF women’s basketball team, also issued a statement on behalf of his organization on Twitter. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pacholke family at this terribly difficult time,” it said. Please remember them in your prayers.”

Kaitlynn Pacholke, her sister, is still in shock. She stated that you never realize what an individual is going through on the inside.

Often, no matter how well one thinks one understands somebody, one just doesn’t know what they’re going through. Her sister had access to every resource imaginable. She was adored by everybody. She was fantastic at her work, Kaitlynn stated during her interview.

According to Kaitlynn, her sister’s positive attitude was contagious. She claimed to have a talent for making others feel special.

She absolutely emanated love and optimism, and she was so concerned with pouring into others that she always placed others first. She believed she did so at the price of neglecting herself, her sister continued.

It is always distressing to learn about such a young demise. Our thoughts are with Neena Pacholke’s family and friends.
