Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got hitched, and wouldn’t you know it, they did it by saying “I do” in the middle of the desert like a pair of young people trying to elope.
The pair secured a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, which was issued on Saturday, July 16, according to court documents. It’s in both of their names, and more specifically, in their legal names- Jennifer Lynn Lopez and Benjamin Gaza Affleck.
According to a source close to Bennifer, they did however get married and the license serves as proof that they are now man and wife.
J. Lo was photographed wearing an engagement ring earlier this year while shopping for furniture with her 14-year-old daughter, Emme.
Soon later, Jennifer informed her subscribers of the news in a video message. She is teary-eyed and exclaims, “You’re wonderful,” before revealing her stunning green diamond ring.
Ben and Jen originally became engaged in the latter part of 2002, but they broke it off in 2004 before being hitched. They each had subsequent relationships apart, involving marriages and children, but they got back together about a year ago and have appeared to be inseparable ever since.

As we’ve previously documented, they’ve been home searching together, frequently taking their children along, and signaling they were looking for a mixed family scenario, so the indicators of them getting married have been there all along. The pair seemed to have made a home in a Beverly Hills residence, despite several of their real estate investments failing.
Jen’s automobile was observed last month on a Beverly Hills Thursday at a sizable mansion. Additionally, there are four moving trucks outside the estate, and there were also trucks at Ben and Jen’s present residences in the Los Angeles region.
He reportedly paid roughly $60 million for the mansion, which was not on the market. Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman once owned it.
