Brave Yorkie repels a coyote in order to save her 10-year-old owner.

Nothing compares to the relationship between a youngster and their dog. Every child should grow up with a dog since they are not only wonderful friends but also fierce protectors of their owners, constantly eager to put themselves in harm to defend them.

That’s what one little but brave dog demonstrated this week when she protected her 10-year-old owner from a coyote, injuring herself in the process.

Macy is a six-year-old Yorkie mix that lives in Scarborough, Toronto, with her owner Dorothy Kwan and her family.

Macy was out on a stroll with the family’s 10-year-old daughter recently when things took a dramatic turn when the kid came face to face with a wild coyote.

But, miraculously, the small dog stood up to be a hero, fighting the coyote to defend her owner.

The video is upsetting, with the coyote assaulting Macy in the background while the girl pleads for help.

But, in the end, Macy wins the battle: Macy proceeds to bark, and the coyote finally flees, as though scared away by the smaller canine.

Dorothy Kwan stated that one can see their dog placing herself between her kid and the coyote. Even after she was badly hurt, she kept barking and chasing the coyote away. She retaliated.

While Macy was successful in repelling the coyote, she was left with serious wounds. She had significant wounds to her body and leg, Dorothy wrote. At the emergency animal hospital, she is having surgery for her injuries.

Dorothy was heartbroken, realizing that her beloved little dog had been harmed in order to save her daughter. Her heart breaks for both her child and their dog, whom they rescued five years ago. She is a single mother of two kids, and her kids and dog are everything to her.

Macy was sent to an animal hospital for treatment of her injuries, however the bill came to thousands of dollars.

People came through when the family set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the finances and share Macy’s courageous tale with the world: the page has nearly $20,000, more than double its fundraising target.

Even better, Macy is already healing well, according to Dorothy’s updates on the GoFundMe website.

Her fever has subsided, and she has regained her appetite, she wrote today. extremely proud of her. When she returns home, no coyotes will want to meddle with her. Her fiery young lady is a great warrior. She adores her so much. You can do it.

Watch this shocking video moment. What a courageous little puppy. We wish heroic Macy a speedy recovery!
