Candace Cameron Bure is in the holiday mood, and the actress wishes to reintroduce Christianity into the Christmas films in which she stars.
She hopes the Great American Family will retain conventional marriage at the center, the “Fuller House” star said of the new network she joined earlier this year, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Bure left the Hallmark Channel in April of this year. She had previously worked on the popular network for almost a decade, starring in 10 holiday films and 30 films altogether for Hallmark’s Crown Media.
Her heart desires to share tales with deeper significance, meaning, and depth, she stated. She understood the individuals behind the Great American Family loved the Lord and desired to promote religion programming as well as wonderful family entertainment.
Bure previously stated how her own ideas connect with the Great American Family.
She is extremely pleased to create beautiful family and faith-filled programming and to tell tales that her family and she like watching, she said.
She is always seeking new methods to encourage others to live their lives with meaning.
Bure did not discuss her resignation from the Hallmark Channel, but she did state, it’s practically a whole different network than when she began due to the shift in leadership.
Former Hallmark Channel CEO Bill Abbott currently oversees Great American Family.
