Chuck Norris is well-known for his various accomplishments in martial arts, the amount of belts he possesses, and his film career. Maybe the labels he wears with the most pride are those of proud father, loving son, and adoring spouse!

Wilma Norris, the actor’s mom, is somebody he has frequently described for the effect she has made on his life. He has praised her courage for being able to raise three kids as a single mum at a period when the world was not nice to single mothers.

Last year on Mother’s Day, the actor paid tribute to both his mom and wife Gena, thanking them for their great effect on his life.

His mother’s birthday also happened to fall on the same day, and she turned 100, inspiring her son to add, “I love you, Mom! Happy 100th birthday!”

Chuck has frequently mentioned how his mom is still an active part of the community and a frequent pray-er! He stated that she hoped for his career’s success but went on to say that she even prayed for him to meet a lady to alter his life, and it succeeded.

Wilma overcame adversity to get to where she is now. She was born in an impoverished household. Later in life, she battled but succeeded in raising her three kids on her own after their father, her spouse, left the family early on.

Even yet, she was able to raise three guys on her own. Instilling faith in them and assisting them in becoming self-sufficient so that they understand nothing is impossible.

And her trust in her kids, and instilling such faith in them, had a concrete influence as we witnessed Chuck Norris start on a highly successful career as a martial artist in Hollywood.

The actor has always prioritized his family. He married his wife Gena in 1998, and they had their first child in 2001.

His wife had arthritic symptoms ten years into their marriage. She was scheduled for an MRI as well as other tests and treatments, but everything backfired. This rendered her ill, and she needed 24-hour nursing care to get back to her old healthy self.

Chuck accepted the challenge. His entire existence right now revolves on keeping her alive, he explained.

The family guy prioritised his wife’s treatment and remained by her side throughout her illness, putting his job on hold.

Wilma Norris, the Norris family matriarch, was 101 years old in May of this year. Her son Chuck was the first to post about it in celebration of his mother’s life thus far. “Happy Birthday Mom! 101 years YOUNG! WOW! There are no words to describe how much I love and appreciate you. Thank you for everything you have done for us over the many years God has blessed us together.”

Chuck has always been open about his feelings for his mom, letting everybody understand how important she is to him.

Wilma Norris’ life was not simple. She grew up in such hardship that she became a state kid at the age of eight.

She spent two years in a hospital receiving treatment for a rare condition. She grew up, met Ray, married, and had 3 kids. Ray was a World War II vet who returned to the United States with a lost arm and a drinking problem.

His alcoholism made it difficult for him to keep a job. He was unable to maintain his family financially. Wilma decided to relocate herself and her three sons to Wilson, Oklahoma.

Despite the fact that it was Great Depression, Chuck has frequently shared with fans how her mom’s faith never wavered and she always believed things would get better.

Mom has been an inspiration of endurance and faith her entire life, the actor said of his mom. She has also lost two spouses, a stepson, two grandsons, and his younger brother Wieland in the Vietnam War. She’s had cancer several times and had around 30 different operations for various ailments, and she’s still alive to tell the tale.

Wilma made a rare visit on Mike Huckabee’s show in 2012 to highlight her life and family. She attributed her effective parenting to frequent prayer time with her sons and ensuring that everybody attended church on a regular basis.

Wilma Norris is a true inspiration. The Norris family matriarch is still going strong at 101 years old.
