Texas Police Officer Sal Capa arrested Doc Amey on a gun charge some time back, and Doc was sentenced to 5 years in prison. That incarceration changed Doc, and he became a very religious man.
Three years after his release, Doc was attending a barbeque and Officer Capa, the man who put him behind bars, walked up to him.
He recognized Doc… and Doc sure recognized him. Then Doc asked Officer Capa if he would mind praying with him. The two joined hands, and Doc prayed. He asked the Almighty to always keep Officer Capa safe while on the job.
