Couple died in a terrible collision leaving behind twin 7-year-old children. Rest in peace!

A fatal vehicle accident in Redwood City, California, on Friday night left seven-year-old twin girls without their parents.

Greg and Grace Ammen were killed after their automobile was struck by another, which pushed their car all the way down the sidewalk a couple hundred feet.

Madison and Olivia, the couple’s daughters, were in the car but survived with minor injuries.

As a parent, one should never have to inform your kids that they no longer have parents, the kids’ uncle Michael Ammen said.

The second vehicle’s 17-year-old driver and two passengers were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Ammens were driving home after supper when another car collided with theirs.

Witnesses informed local news outlets that they spotted automobiles rushing along El Camino Real just before the incident.

Alonso Flores has an auto repair shop across the street from the collision site on El Camino Real and Finger Avenue. The event was caught on surveillance footage from his store.

Two automobiles on the side — right on the sidewalk, one of the cars was kind of burning, and as a mechanic, he understood that car’s ready to catch fire, he said.

When Redwood City cops came, two automobiles were on the sidewalk, one of which was engulfed in flames.

The Ammens, according to authorities, were locked inside their automobile. They were killed on the spot.

A GoFundMe account has been established to assist Madison and Olivia with their current and future care. More than $100,000 has been raised for the twins in less than 24 hours.

The crash is still being investigated.

Madison and Olivia will require as much affection and assistance as they can receive.

Please remember the sisters in your prayers.
