Daughter of Uvalde Deputy Who Responded to Texas School Shooting Identified as One of Those Killed

New information is emerging concerning the horrific and pointless murders of 19 students and two educators at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday.

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott acknowledged one of the little girls murdered in the shooting was the daughter of a sheriff’s deputy at a press conference with officials on Wednesday.

“One deputy sheriff’s daughter was killed in that school,” Abbott told reporters.

Alexandria On Tuesday, “Lexi” Rubio, the 10-year-old daughter of Felix Rubio, a Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office officer who reacted to the shooting, died.

Felix and his wife, Kimberly, told CNN on Wednesday that they were proud of their little girl, who enjoyed basketball and softball and aspired to be a lawyer when she grew up like her mom.

Lexi’s parents joined her at an honor roll event on Tuesday to celebrate her academic credentials. The shooter began to fire around 30 minutes after they left the school.

They expressed, she was lovely, polite, and enjoyed life. She was going to be an all-star in softball and had a bright potential in both athletics and academics. Please let all know how much they miss their kid.

Kimberly posted on Facebook that her lovely, bright Alexandria Aniyah Rubio was named to the All-A honor roll today. She was also given the Good Citizen Award. They assured her that they adored her and would see her after school. They had no clue this was their last farewell.

In addition to the 21 people who died on Tuesday, 17 others were injured. The shooting is the second worst at a school since the Sandy Hook Elementary School incident in 2012.

Abbott continued that the entire community is in complete disbelief. Some of the cops’ bodily injuries are expected to recover in the following days. Mental and emotional traumas are significantly more difficult to detect and endure far longer.

On Tuesday, a few first responders, including a police officer, an EMT, and a fireman, explained about the awful sight outside the school.

Ernest “Chip” King, a Uvalde firefighter who was among the first on the site, explained that dads shattered windows and literally dragged their children out of classrooms. There was a lot of confusion.

Rey, an EMT who came to the scene 20 minutes after the killing and asked to be named only by his first name, expressed that he was stabilizing a small girl, she was so little. There was blood all around. She was shot in the chest and shoulder. They were attempting to halt the bleeding. He glanced at her and thought, ‘She’s only a baby. Who would shoot a child?’

The shooter in Tuesday’s deadly school shooting in Texas, recognized as 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, locked himself within an elementary school classroom, according to authorities, who added that all of the victims were both killed and wounded were located in that room.

Lt. Chris Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety remarked this morning that the gunman approached the classroom at 11:30 a.m., “closed the door, and simply began killing children and the two instructors” inside.

Cops verified that the youngsters deceased were in the second, third, and fourth classes.

Olivarez added that it just highlights the fact of how terrible this gunman is.

According to officials, the shooter shot his grandmother before going to the school, who has so far recovered her wounds.

He was involved in an automobile accident near the school. He was apprehended by law authorities outside the school but was still able to enter.

The reason for Tuesday’s shooting has not been examined by investigators.

Uvalde is a tiny community located around 85 miles west of San Antonio.
