Bruce Willis is clearly overwhelmed by affection on his birthday.
The actor, who was recently diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, spent his 68th birthday with family over the weekend. Demi Moore, the “Die Hard” actor’s ex-wife, provided fans with a glimpse inside the celebrations through a series of social media postings that featured a lovely sequence of photographs and videos.
“More from Bruce’s birthday, yesterday,” Moore, who was married to Willis from 1987 until 2000, said in a March 19 Instagram post.
Moore’s post included nine images of him with his mixed family, including separate shots of him with each of his daughters: Rumer Willis, 34, Scout LaRue Willis, 31, and Tallulah Willis, 29. Willis’s two younger children, Evelyn Penn, 8, and Mabel Ray, 10, were also photographed with his present wife, Emma Heming Willis.
The first photograph in the carousel featured the actor with Heming Willis, Moore, and all of their kids.
Tallulah donned a T-shirt in one shot that looked to be a tribute to one of her father’s most famous events. Willis was seen on the shirt singing into a microphone. Willis appeared in a television mockumentary about his fictitious alter-ego, singer “Bruno Radolini,” which looks to be the picture on the shirt, in 1987.
Moore may be seen in one shot sporting a baseball cap labeled “Actor.” Later images showed the hat being passed around between the family, with Willis and Tallulah also donning it.
Willis admirers flooded the comments section of Moore’s article with birthday greetings and encouragement. The post’s comments section was littered with heart and party popper emojis.
Willis had a birthday serenade in addition to time with family, as shown in a March 19 video uploaded by Moore on Twitter.
Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family.
