Elon Musk’s 18-year-old son has filed court filings to officially change their gender from male to female and shed their last name, declaring, she no longer lives with or desires to be linked to her birth dad in any manner, shape, or form.’
On April 18, Xavier Musk, 18, submitted the application in Santa Monica, California, requesting to be recognised as Vivian Jenna Wilson. The transgender adolescent revealed that she wants to assume her mom’s last name in order to distinguish herself from her father.
She has not stated if she gets financial help from her father, whose $213 billion wealth makes him the world’s richest man, or whether her revulsion with his actions has led her to refuse any additional donations.
Since 2008, Musk has been married to Vivian’s mom, Canadian novelist Justine Wilson. Nevada, her son, died after 10 days of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome after she gave birth in 2002. (SIDS). She then had twin sons, Xavier and Griffin, and triplet boys, Damian, Kai, and Saxon, who are now 16 years old.
Despite their dad having joint custody, the five adolescent sons have kept a low profile.
It’s unknown what motivated Vivian’s public abandonment of her dad. Musk has yet to respond, and it’s unclear whether he knew of Vivian’s plans before the court records were submitted.
Musk, 50, has been chastised in recent months for allegedly transphobic remarks.
He grumbled about individuals using their own pronouns, prompting Chasten Buttigieg, Pete Buttigieg’s husband, to respond, ‘I hear your aggravation, honey. We may go through the homework again after class.’

He stated that he supported Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has been chastised by the LGBTQ community for his so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ policy, which prohibits small kids from discussing gender identity and homosexuality in school.
“We are simultaneously being taught that gender distinctions do not exist and that genders are so deeply different that irreversible surgery is the only choice,’ Musk tweeted last week in response to an article debating whether the query ‘What is a woman?’ was genuine.
‘Perhaps someone wiser than I can explain this contradiction.’
He went on to say, ‘It would be a better world if we were all less judgmental.’

Musk has also stated that he is completely pro-LGBT rights, citing Tesla’s consistent high rankings in lists of the greatest places for LGBT employees to work as proof of his open-mindedness.
Musk’s ex-girlfriend, 34-year-old Canadian musician Grimes, is now rumoured to be dating a transgender Wikileaks source Chelsea Manning, 34 years old.
Grimes started dating Musk in May 2018, and their son, X AE A-XII, was born in May 2020.
Exa Dark Siderael Musk, known as Y, was born through surrogate in December 2021 to Musk and Grimes.
Grimes and Musk travelled to Florence, Italy, in August with at least three of their five teenage boys, but it was unclear whether Xavier was among them.
The case’s next court appearance is set on Friday.
