Everyday The Cop Is With A Little Boy In His Recess Time.

A security guard typically is supposed to watch over things. But Ron Saladin is not your typical security guard. 6-year-old Braylon Henson just considers him his best friend.

Young Braylon suffers from ectodermal dysplasia, which means he was born without sweat glands and cannot go outside if the temperature is higher than 74 degrees. And because he lives in Alabama, the temperature exceeds that quite often.

So when all of his classmates are outside playing during recess, the little boy has to stay inside. It would be a very lonely experience for him if not for Ron, the security guard at Bay Minette Elementary.

Braylon and Ron have a great friendship, and Ron even asks him to help him patrol the school. And THAT has made the little boy very popular among his classmates. Ron even bought Braylon a tiny uniform to wear when he helps him patrol the school.

Says Ron: “He felt left out, and I didn’t want him to feel left out. His mom was afraid he was going to get picked on and bullied when he came to school. It’s definitely a blessing, like it was meant to be.”
