John Eisenman, 60, of Spokane, was arrested with first-degree murder in the death of Andrew Sorensen, 19, after his rotting body was discovered in the trunk of an abandoned automobile.
According to investigators, Eisenman found his daughter had been sold to a Seattle-area trafficking network by Sorensen, her boyfriend at the time, in October 2020.
Eisenman was able to save her and return her to Spokane.
However, a month later, Eisenman approached Sorensen before kidnapping, tying him up, and stuffing him in the trunk of a car.
Eisenman allegedly attacked the victim by beating him in the head with a cinder block and then knifed him continuously, resulting his death, authorities noted in a statement.

Officers found Sorensen’s decomposing body after homeowners in a Spokane neighborhood complained a discarded automobile coated in mold and generating a horrible stench.
Brenda Kross, Eisenman’s fiancée, owned the automobile.
The victim was found in the trunk of the vehicle, shackled ankles and hands, taped lips, and many puncture wounds on the clothes.
Eisenman answered the door when cops went to talk with Kross, the registered owner of the 1991 green Honda Accord. He informed authorities that the automobile was stolen in 2020.
Kross later told detectives that Sorensen had trafficked their minor daughter and that they had gone to Seattle to rescue her.
But, a neighbor phoned authorities to report that Eisenman had admitted to murdering somebody and concealing the body in a car trunk. Under interrogation, Eisenman admitted to attacking and murdering Sorensen in November.
He was arrested and is being jailed on a $1 million bail.
