Heather Locklear was born in Los Angeles in 1961; now, the 1980s bombshell is 61 years old and still going strong.
She had her first television appearances in the early 1980s, and her big break came with the sitcom Dynasty.
Appearing as Sammy Jo Carrington launched her to popularity – the young Heather resembled an angel with the face of a Disney princess.
Others may argue that she was simply another gorgeous blonde TV actress, nothing remarkable. But her character on Melrose Place was kickass; every time she came onscreen, things seemed to become more intriguing.
Heather went on to garner four Golden Globe nods for her role as the cold-hearted Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place, proving that she can act. But understanding her job without delving into her personal life is challenging.
Heather was often seen in the arms of rock legends in the 1980s; she was married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, whom she divorced in 1993, and then married Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora.
The couple married in a civil ceremony in New Jersey in 1994, followed by a ceremonial wedding in France with family and friends. Nolan Miller, who designed the opulent costumes for Dynasty, designed the Melrose Place star’s dazzling white gown.
Heather and Richie were married for 13 years, during which time their only child, Ava Sambora, was born.
On October 4, 1997, Ava Elizabeth Sambora was born. I believe it is reasonable to conclude that she did not have a typical upbringing. Ava was often spotted onstage with Jon Bon Jovi when she was a child. She presented them to the crowd at times and even danced with the band members.
Her childhood might easily have been a nightmare as the daughter of two great stars. However, it seems that she did well—Ava is a very brilliant and well-educated lady today.
She enjoyed being a cheerleader in high school.
Ava graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a GPA of 4.0. She then opted to attend the University of Southern California to earn a master’s degree in marital and family counseling.
The young lady has also dabbled in acting, and seems to be following in her renowned mother’s footsteps.
The 25-year-old made her film debut in This Is 40, and she walked the catwalk for her father’s clothing brand, “White Trash Beautiful,” during Los Angeles Fashion Weekend in 2010.
She just uploaded a photo of herself in a frock carrying a bouquet of tulips in 2020. Her post drew hundreds of responses from individuals who commented on how much she resembled her famous mother.
Ava, wearing a leopard-print frock and her long, blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, commented that she like flowers and tagged her friend Sarah Wermers.
Some believe that Ava has Heather’s TJ Hooker look from back in the day based on current images and videos.
Some claim that, although both Ava and Heather are stunning, they bear little resemblance.
Her 61-year-old mother recently resorted to Instagram to publish a series of photos congratulating her daughter on her LMU graduation.
Nevertheless, the 25-year-old blonde seems to be a kind young girl with her priorities in order. Her mom and her are known to have a very close relationship. In 2018, the aspiring actress told US Weekly that she’d want to follow in her mother’s footsteps professionally.
Her most recent acting credit is from 2020, when she co-starred alongside Selma Blair in the indie murder film A Dark Foe. We hope to see more of this brilliant lady in the future!
Ava has discovered her love in addition to her stellar academic performance and budding cinematic career. She’s dating Tyler Farrar, an investment associate at Pacific Partners Real Estate Investments.
Since 2019, the pair has been dating.
