‘I Knew Something Was Wrong’: Grief-Stricken Mom of a Missing Teen Shares Their Last Conversation

Kiely Rodni, 16, was said to have left to a gathering at the Prosser Family Campground in Northern California on a Friday evening. The Campground gathering of August 5, 2022, supposedly had 200-300 teenagers and young adults in turnout.

Kiely’s mother, Lindsey Rodni-Nieman, said she got a text message late Friday night from her daughter. Kiely wrote to her mom that she would head home from the gathering in about 45 minutes.

As soon as Kiely’s mother woke up the following day and realise that her daughter wasn’t home and her car was missing. She called Kiely and sent her texts but it went unanswered. The mother quickly realised that something was wrong.

The distressed mom said she didn’t think Kiely had run away since all her stuffs were at home. She also stated that had Kiely seen her anxious texts and calls, she would have surely replied.

As per the evidence collected by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, Kiely was last seen at the gathering on August 6 at about 12:30 a.m. Kiely was said to have strangely disappeared along with her car, a silver 2013 Honda CRV.

Officers held that a possible abduction cannot be ruled out as there was no mark of the teen-ager or her car. Officers also advised anybody who saw her at the gathering to share all possible details and until now, investigators are said to have gathered some 200 tips.

It is also revealed that Kiely’s handset went out of service shortly after her vanishing. Search on the event continues as officers and investigators continue to search the locality where Kiely was spotted last.

Kiely is said to be 5.7” tall and weighs approximately 118 pounds. She has pale hair and hazel eyes and was previous seen in green Dickies pants, a black top, a nose ring and other jewellery stuffs.

Whosoever comes onward with info that could assist to bring Kiely home, a $50,000 reward will be offered.

Kiely’s mother, in a sensitive Facebook video, begged with her daughter to come home and said she wanted for nothing more than to hug her daughter and express her how much she treasured her.
