Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth Welcome 3rd Child: ‘He’s Here!’

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth have expanded their family to five members.

The Counting On cast members have welcomed their first child, a boy! The cute little addition joins older brothers Gideon, 4, and Evelyn, 2.

“He’s here!” Joy posted about it on Instagram.”Thank you all for praying… Mama and baby are recovering well.”

The couple revealed their third pregnancy in October, with a beautiful snapshot of themselves clutching a baby sonogram and the ecstatic remark, “Baby #3 is on the way!”

They disclosed soon thereafter in a YouTube video that they had been trying for a third child for quite some time, following a loss in July 2019 and the birth of their second child in August 2020.

They’re in a really good spot now, Joy-Anna said in the video. They love their family and are ready to grow, so they’re crossing their fingers that they get pregnant. It’d be insane if they were twins. It would be entertaining.

Since the birth of Gideon, the Forsyths have indicated a wish to expand their family.

Their favorite math is addition, and they are extremely thrilled to share that the Forsyth family is adding a member! they wrote in a statement on their family website in 2019. Marriage and being Gideon’s parents have already far exceeded their expectations. They are excited to love another child and discover what unique dynamic he or she will add to their family. A table for four sounds ideal!

They were overjoyed to learn that their third pregnancy was a boy and that their first child would have a new sibling.

She is totally shocked, Joy-Anna acknowledged this in a video where they learned the gender of their third child. She was certain it was a female and persuaded herself it was a girl. She was expecting two of those balloons to be pink, but they weren’t. That’s insane!

He is so, so grateful, Austin said. He mean, if it was a girl, he’d be just as happy, but he is happy that Gideon’s going to have a little brother.
