Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock allegedly went back to court just months after their divorce was settled over privacy concerns at Clarkson’s Montana property.
After nearly 7 years of marriage, Kelly Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock in June 2020. Clarkson’s Montana ranch, where Blackstock presently resides, was a major area of dispute in their divorce settlement. While the judge affirmed Kelly’s exclusive ownership of the house, her ex-husband was granted permission to reside there until June while paying the American Idol winner $12,500 in lease.
Despite the fact that Blackstock is leaving the home next month, her former manager/husband has taken her back to court over the deployment of 13 outdoor security cameras. According to court records acquired by The Blast, Clarkson has been ordered to switch off all cameras on the home while Blackstock resides there.
“Kelly Blackstock shall forthwith turn off any web-cams, trail cams, and any other security cameras at (the address),” the Los Angeles County Court judge ordered in the documents.
Kelly’s attorneys must give documentation to Brandon’s lawyers after turning off the cameras and explain how they were deactivated.
It’s unknown where Blackstock will live once his leasing contract expires next month, but he’ll apparently have ten days beyond the deadline to transfer his personal and business possessions from the Montana property, and he won’t be able to return without authorization.
However, Blackstock should have no problem finding another somewhere to reside. Clarkson will pay the music manager $115,000 per month in alimony and $45,601 per month in child support until their children, River Rose (7) and Remington Alexander (6), reach the age of 18. Clarkson also gave him a tax-free, one-time payment of $1,326,161 as part of their divorce settlement.
