Left Behind: Rise Of The Antichrist Exceeds $3 Million On Opening Weekend.

After its countrywide release on January 26, the newest Left Behind film, Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist, broke the $3 million mark at the box office.

The response to this film has been amazing, actor and director Kevin Sorbo said in a statement.

“After millions of people vanish and the world falls into chaos, the only light is a charismatic leader who rises to become head of the U.N. But does he bring hope for a better future? Or is it the end of the world?” According to the film’s synopsis.

In addition to breaking the $3 million milestone, the film came in seventh place at the box office last week. The film’s goal is to demonstrate that current events are a foreshadowing of the return of Christ and the impending catastrophe.

Sorbo thanked everyone who purchased tickets and left hundreds of nice comments on social media. He added that if one listens to what individuals have been saying about ‘Left Behind,’ one will realize this is a film with an important message that the world needs to hear.

Sorbo, who previously appeared in The Legends of Hercules and God’s Not Dead, co-stars in the newest Left Behind film with Neal McDonough (Band of Brothers), Corbin Bernsen (Psych), and Bailey Chase (Saving Grace). It is the newest entry in the Left Behind series, which is based on the best-selling books of the same name.

He tweeted about it, stating that the feedback has been received! The film Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist is an absolute must-see! Please inform everyone one know about the film and urge them to watch it. The more tickets they sell, the longer they will be able to remain in theaters.

According to Sorbo, the film has a Revelation concept going into it.

He explained that reading Revelation and looking at what that book says, and reading the Left Behind books, which he read many, many years ago, seemed like a perfect set-up to what’s occurring currently in the world with all the turmoil, distress, hatred, and division. And he remarked, if there’s ever a moment for Jesus to return, this looks like the appropriate time.
