Lisa Marie Presley’s last public appearance before her death was quite emotional.

In 2022, actor Austin Butler starred in a biopic based on Elvis Presley’s life. The Presleys were obviously pleased with the film and how the story was presented.

Austin Butler’s portrayal of Elvis Presley was lauded by both reviewers and audiences. The actor quickly gained critical praise and was nominated for his first Golden Globe.

Austin Butler was on the Golden Globes red carpet with his sister, Ashley Butler, when they were talking about the film and the part that has undoubtedly transformed the course of Butler’s acting career.

His sister expressed her admiration for her younger brother.

While she was ranting about her baby brother, Lisa Marie Presley emerged from behind her and said, “What? “Did I photobomb you?”

When asked what she felt of Butler’s depiction of her dad, Presley was effusive in her appreciation for the young actor. She called his performance as Elvis “absolutely mind-blowing.”

She didn’t know what to do with herself after seeing that, she said of Baz Luhrmann’s film about her father’s brief life. That took her about five days to comprehend it since it was so beautiful and spot on and just so honest that she can’t even articulate what it felt like.
