A beauty firm has called into question Amber Heard’s abuse accusations against Johnny Depp, alleging that the concealer kit her lawyer claimed she utilized “each day” to cover the injuries caused by his assaults didn’t even exist until a year after they parted.
Exes Heard, 35, and Depp, 58, who married in 2015 and were hitched for a year until Heard filed for divorce in 2016, have been fighting in court. The trial, which is currently ongoing in Virginia, is aiming to decide if Heard’s 2018 Washington Post column, in which she blamed Depp of domestic violence, defamed Depp.Depp has always rejected her charges against him and is demanding at least $50 million in compensatory damages and at least $350,000 in punitive damages, as well as attorneys’ expenses and court cost
During the trial, Heard and her attorneys asserted that the actress utilized Milani’s All In One Correcting Kit to conceal the purported injuries she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband.
Amber Heard’s allegation that she utilised one of their products to cover up injuries that her ex-husband Johnny Depp reportedly inflicted on her was refuted by the cosmetics business. On Thursday (April 21), Milani Cosmetics tweeted a TikTok video incorporating the viral “International Super Spy” song, with footage of the Aquaman actress in court playing in the background.

“What [Amber Heard] carried in her purse throughout the ENTIRE relationship,” they captioned the video, showcasing their Milani color correction and concealer palette. The cosmetics business then pointed out that the item was introduced in December 2017, more than three years after Heard claimed that the Pirates of the Caribbean star harmed her.
According to Heard, the alleged abuse occurred between 2014 and 2016. In 2016, their divorce was completed. In court, Heard’s counsel displayed a cosmetics palette that Heard reportedly used throughout “the whole relationship with Johnny Depp.” Her legal counsel stated in court that this was the method she employed. She grew extremely good at it. Amber’s testimony about how she had to mix the different colors for the different days of the bruises as they developed in different coloring, and how she would utilize [the makeup] to touch them up; to be able to hide those were also expressed.
This week, Depp took the stand during interrogation. In court, Heard played a video showing Depp storming out by smashing cabinets and presumably damaging an object off screen. Meanwhile, tape of Heard confessing to physically assaulting Depp has been introduced as proof. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million in damages. In his defamation complaint, he says his ex-wife harmed his reputation and profession by falsely accusing him of abusing her. Heard has counter-sued him for defamation in the amount of $100 million. Both sides have alleged that the other perpetrated domestic abuse on them.
