Miley Cyrus and her godmother Dolly Parton have just given us the nicest New Year’s Eve present ever. On Saturday, December 31, the two legends performed together on the live NBC program Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party. The symbols worked flawlessly together.
The two ladies co-hosted the event and brought down the house in the final minutes of the program with “Wrecking Ball,” followed by Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.”
Miley and Dolly had previously performed together, but this performance was very exceptional. Fans couldn’t be more in agreement. Social media users were eager to praise the performance shortly as it ended.
It wasn’t only for the fans. It was very special for the two performers. She expressed that getting to host the show with Miley is the greatest delight of her life. They all know how much she has adored her since she was a little child. She’s grown up now, but she still adores her. She shall always cherish her.
Miley concurred. That’s how she feels about her, Aunt Dolly, she says. To stand on this platform and welcome 2023 with her godmother and all of the people here in Miami has been an honor and a delight, and they have simply cherished the time that they have had to spend together, and this brought them closer than they’ve ever been, so they’re thankful.
