Cheryl Treadway’s boyfriend was unraveling inside her Avon Park, Florida home in May 2015. He was enraged, out of control, and armed with a knife.
Cheryl and her three children were taken prisoner. She cradled one of her kids in her arms as her other two kids snuggled inside.
Cheryl mentioned that her children were becoming hungry in the middle of the tragedy and uncertainty. She ultimately persuaded her partner to let her order a pizza over the phone. He concurred.
She hastily punched in her order on the Pizza Hut phone app before he grabbed the phone from her grasp.
However, the Pizza Hut personnel got Cheryl’s order – but there was something odd about it. This was not your normal smartphone purchase.
Rather than dismissing the warning, the restaurant workers went with their gut…
