Mom sparks debate defending son for beating up the boy who had been “tormenting” him for years

Bullies have no place in society, yet they appear all over like a swarm of roaches. We’re constantly told that bullies have a cause for bullying. That they may have experienced trauma or are insecure.

But I’m sure most of us can agree that there’s rarely a sob story behind why individuals bully others. Some folks are just plain bad.

Drew Davis, Allison Davis’ son, was being targeted by someone. And she took to the internet to explain how he dealt with the situation.

Drew’s scholastic life was made a living nightmare by this youngster. We’re all aware with the situation, but let’s hear how things turned out for Drew.

Allison was concerned since the youngster frequently intimidated Drew and his buddies.

Despite the fact that threats were sufficient justification to act, the school believed differently. Yes, it will be one of those institutions.

As much as individuals prefer to believe that bullies are motivated by their own personal anguish, nothing could be farther from the reality. Bullies are the result of severe narcissism being reinforced with a lack of responsibility.

More threats were made, and the school remained silent.

Even when Drew’s bully threatened him in other ways, such as voicemails and text messages, the school appeared dismissive and disinterested.

How can a child concentrate in school when they are regularly mistreated like this?

Obviously, Allison became increasingly anxious for Drew. She was also becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the school.

Drew was trailed in the hallways by the bully, who threatened him throughout their courses together and made school feel as hazardous as possible for Drew.

Drew had reached the stage when he avoided talking to the grownups at school.

This was most likely due to the general trauma felt as well as trust concerns caused by the school’s indifferent attitude.

When the school finally did something, it was both arrogant and disheartening.

Drew and his bully were forced to sign a “no contact” agreement. You don’t need me to tell you that a bully will not cease only because they signed a piece of paper promising to do so.

And, as predicted, he didn’t stop.

Bullies, however, cannot continue to do so indefinitely. Actions always have repercussions.

They’ll eventually throw the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

That’s precisely what occurred soon after. It happened on the bus.

Drew boarded the bus, and the bully was right after him, as he always was. He went a step farther and threatened Drew’s family as well.

Drew’s 11-year-old sibling and their dad were also threatened. That was the final straw.

Drew had had enough of seeing and hearing. This bully had gone far too long without being made liable or suffering repercussions.

And if the school won’t act, Drew may as well take issues into his own hands.

Drew climbed to his feet and struck him. At least three times. Enough to bring him to tears.

That appears to be all that was required. Naturally, being the hypocrites that they are, the school punishes Drew for it. He received a 5-day OSS penalty, but at least his main issue had been resolved.

What about Allison? Drew’s choice was backed and upheld by her.

She understands she is supposed to be unhappy with him as a parent for turning to violence or getting punished, however she is not. Not even remotely,  Allison stated unequivocally

One may need to address a bully in the only language they comprehend. One is taught that violence is never the solution yet there’s a reason why self-defense laws exist.

When one is regularly intimidated and harassed, there’s nothing wrong with sticking up for oneself.
