Washing dishes is a duty that everybody attempts to avoid, however with household expenditures skyrocketing, we are increasingly hesitant to switch on the dishwasher.
However, Rebecca Cubberly of Telford, Shropshire, has found the greatest life hack that will spare her time and energy on dishwashing.
She’s discovered a method to serve her family of four without having to clean up by using no plates or silverware and simply placing tin foil across the entire dining room table.
The 28-year-old spread five pieces of tin foil over her dining room table before heaping up mince, veggies, nachos, cheese, and wraps and inviting her family to assist themselves.
They prefer picky meals and this way is more fun, plus the clean up afterwards was excellent, she had a knife and a chopping board to clean, said the mother-of-two from Telford, Shropshire.
Rebecca, who would typically have five dishes and a frying pan to clean, used an air fryer to cook the mince, and the family ate with their hands.
The stay-at-home mother saved a lot of time by utilizing the air fryer and simply had to pick up and throw away the tin foil.
She generally spend around half an hour cleaning up after a meal like that, and it’s a long time to spend preparing and cleaning after a hard day, she noted.
It was so simple that she told her husband to do bath time and she’d clean up. There is no washing up, so she’ll do it tonight, and he can have the arduous task of doing bath time, she reasoned.
Rebecca stated that her kids were so taken by the tin foil that she FaceTimed her mom to check their responses.
They’ll definitely do it again, with various stuff like pizza and ploughman’s or when they have a picky tea or when she is simply not in the spirit to wash up.
She shared a snapshot of her time-saving trick on social media, where commenters questioned its merits, with one claiming it was a waste of tin foil and may harm the environment.
Rebecca stated that she recycled the foil and saved both time and water by not having to use the dishwasher.
Others, on the other hand, thought it was a terrific concept and a great method to avoid doing the dishes.
Rebecca was brainstorming ways to pamper her kids over half term without breaking the budget when she came up with the concept which she claims went down well with her family.
