Omaree, a 9 year old boy secretly called 911 for help who was beaten and abused repeatedly by his mother Synthia Varela-Casaus and his stepfather Steve Casaus. Officers did make a visit to the home but decided no further action was essential. 6 months later, Omaree passed away. His death was caused by blunt force trauma. His mother told police she ‘kicked him the wrong way’ while disciplining him and he fell and hit his head. Poor kid,May his soul rest in peace.
