NOT HOLDING BACK: Harrison Ford doesn’t care what people think.

Harrison Ford is unconcerned about what others think of him.

During an honest interview, the “1923” actor didn’t hold back, even while addressing counseling.

Ford is presently starring as a psychiatrist in the Apple TV+ comedy “Shrinking,” and he just shared his actual views on the matter.

His viewpoint is not that of the profession but that of the practitioner. There are several types of treatment. He is sure many of these will be beneficial to many individuals. Except for himself, he is not against counseling. According to the 80-year-old, he now knows who the f— he is.

When asked whether he learned anything new while working on his first television comedy, Ford said, would it be arrogant to claim he didn’t learn anything?

He didn’t actually learn anything, he joked. It’s about being in the room where it occurs, being suitable to the situation, and enjoying the chance to create something with a little spontaneity and a measure of truth.

Ford also stated that he had a connection with his character in the program, but he declined to clarify.

He is not sure he wants to speak about it, he replied. There were some familial concerns that he could relate to. He has five children. This man has a kid that he seldom sees and an ex-wife. There are difficulties with his family that are not the same as the ones he has with his. But there were certain issues they dealt with, so he discovered an emotional reality to attend to, he added.

Ford is married to actress Calista Flockhart, with whom he has a son.

Ford was scornful of the notion that he suffers from social anxiety disorder, as diagnosed by fans.

With a resume that includes more than 40 films, many of which have earned critical praise, it may surprise some that Ford has never won an Academy Award. When asked whether he believed he’d ever win an Oscar or if he cared, the “Indiana Jones” star shook his head.

He said that if he made a movie with Oscar ambitions, an Oscar-type movie, he’d want the picture to be acknowledged for its merit. He would be delighted and appropriate if he were awarded an Oscar. He is trying to avoid it as much as possible because he doesn’t want to push for it.

Ford is not just an actor, but also a pilot who has rescued stranded hikers in his helicopter on many occasions.

However, do not mark him out as the “hero.”

When asked how people react when a movie celebrity comes to their aid, Ford responded, they once picked up a lady on the mountain who was hypothermic. She puked on his cowboy hat but didn’t recognize him till the following day. He stopped because if they were fortunate enough to locate someone, they’d be on ‘Good Morning America’ talking about a ‘hero pilot.’ That’s not the case at all. It’s a collaborative effort. That’s a silly way to think about things.

Ford was in a near-fatal aircraft accident almost eight years ago, yet he still flies on a daily basis. His wife, on the other hand, has qualms about coming along for the voyage.

Ford stated that the crash was very painful for his family and that he wants to never have to recover from that type of tragedy again, but it won’t stop him from going back into the cockpit.

Ford is obviously unconcerned about the things he hasn’t gotten right.

The actor alluded to the criticism leveled at his film, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” when he said, the film was maybe not as successful as they had hoped it would be. But it didn’t generate an attitude or a habit that carried over into this picture, he added of the franchise’s latest movie, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.” which will debut in June.

When asked how he stays motivated, Ford said that he is simply here to perform his job, which at the time was to assist in the sale of the goods. This is the reason they pay him. He’d do the acting for free.

The story’s reporter, James Hibberd, openly informs Ford that, at his level, he could get away with being an actor who merely acts and then declines to do publicity, to which Ford responds, that’s a prick and incorrect.

The actor recently said that he does not want to slow down anytime soon.

Ford’s next films include “Captain America: New World Order,” “Thunderbolts,” and the aforementioned “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” in addition to appearing in the TV shows “1923” and “Shrinking.”
