The Higgins family never imagined losing their oldest daughter. She was full of life, lively, and had a beautiful grin that could light up even the darkest room.
Lillian’s death was unforeseen because she was not ill and had not been diagnosed with a fatal condition. Unfortunately, the small child was killed in a crash that involved the entire family.
A couple and their two kids, Lillian and Annabelle, were involved in an auto crash in Ohio about a week ago.
This horrific occurrence claimed the life of 11-year-old Lillian, while her other family members were severely injured. Following the tragedy, the victims were transported to the hospital, and Lillian was pronounced dead on October 9.
Ashley and Corey welcomed their first child, Lillian Alliance, on May 13, 2011, in Ohio. She developed into a lovely and smart youngster.
Even though she was only in sixth grade, she had acquired a variety of abilities and had evolved mentally above her years.
Lillian was also a very helpful elder sister. She enjoyed storytelling and sketching, and she was skilled at many arts and crafts with Annabelle.
The 11-year-old had a bike and enjoyed fishing, dancing, and swimming. She was also fearless. At her age, she enjoyed hiking and martial arts; the young lady trained at Black Bird Fitness in Massillon, where she earned her orange belt.
Aside from her explosion of ability, Lillian acquired her mother’s love of animals and, like her father, adored nature. She also enjoyed assisting those around her in any way she could.
It didn’t matter whether she had to crack a joke or burst into a smile; Lillian would always go out of her way to make others happy.
The Ohio adolescent was likewise a ball of energy who was involved in both her school and religion. Lillian was involved in a variety of activities at Bunker Hill UMC, the family’s church, as well as her school choir.
Lillian was survived by her loving parents and her infant sister, Annabelle. However, she is survived by grandparents, Jacky Poteet, Darla Higgins, and Dirk Ritchie; great-grandparents, Troy and Jayne Donaldson and Chuck Puckett; great-great-grandmother, Evelyn Summers; great-aunt, Joni Jefferys; aunts, Astoria and Alea Poteet, Brea, Erica and Jessie Davis, and Alisa Higgins; uncles, Addison and Alex.
Lillian’s funeral was set for October 15, 2022, at the Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring. The family has made arrangements for additional family members, close friends, and strangers to offer sympathies.

Her words were as follows- Her heart hurts for the family of her great friend Astoria Poteet. Lilly was the nicest child, full of imagination and charm. The girl’s mother shared a lovely snapshot of heaven’s newest angel two days ago. Lillian was spotted wearing a blue v-neck shirt with a grey jacket.
Many Facebook users expressed their sympathy for Ashley, and their comments were filled with words of support and prayers.
It’s terrible to lose someone we care about, particularly for parents who hope for the best for their children. We extend love and hope to the Higgins family at this trying time.
